EGYPTIAN KINGDOM 2010

To commemorate the 10th year of our Life Experiences Program, we decided to do a special trip to Egypt! This Egyptian Kingdom adventure took us to Cairo where we visited the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, the Sphinx and Pyramids at Giza, the Zoser Step Pyramid at Sakkara, and the Citadel (Mosque of Mohammad). We then took an overnight train south to Luxor where we boarded our Nile Cruise ship. Highlights included the Aswan Dam on Lake Nasser, Luxor, Temple of Karnak, Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo, and Edfu. Our students had an opportunity to take a camel ride into a Nubian Village along the Nile and enjoy traditional tea with villagers. This was an amazing tour with so many memories!
